A few note worthy items on this week’s status
- None of the screens have passed above/below the S&P baseline this week. This shows that our screens are maturing nicely, and becoming more reliable as the averages flesh out.
- The yearly Business Week best of 2007 picks has reached the 26 week mark, and shows a solid 5.5% above the S&P. Note that the yearly screens are not compared to the S&P average, but are compared to the actual S&P returns since the same date that the screen was created. This screen was created on 1/2/2007, so is compared to the S&P returns since this date which is 8.1%. That means the Business Week screen has returned a whopping 13.6% in the past 26 week period.
